Capturing my whole day on film. ... Well, sort of.

Alright. Here it is. Though, to be honest, I nearly forgot that I told June I would join her in her post. I didn't actually turn on the camera until about 4p.m..

But this is what the kids did all day while I showered and messed with my hair and played Restaurant City on Facebook. They destroyed the house.
So guess what 'lil ol' me will be doing tomorrow? You're right! .... Taking a nap. Just like I did today. Mmmmm... and a delicious nap it was, too; sandwiched between a 6 year old and an 8 year old. No, I did not take pictures of my nap because that would be hard to do with my eyes closed while I drool on my pillow.

Then I painted my toes orange. And of course, when I paint my nails that means I have to paint Lady Bug's too because she will not leave me alone until I do.
And I parted my hair the other way to show off my new color. But I did not take pictures of what it looks like after 78% humidity today. Be glad. Be very glad.
And what is that mark on my forehead? Is that a shadow? I hope it's a shadow; I hope I didn't walk around all day with some strange mark on my forehead.

After naps we took the kids to play putt-putt golf. There was a group of highschool (college maybe? they're all starting to look the same to me.) kids in front of us. One of the guys was wearing these shoes. Why? Who makes shoes like this? And then who buys them? Apparently this guy. There are words all over them. They look like my Grandma Maggie's house shoes.

And while we were waiting in line... I saw this and wondered, "How many hundreds of dollars would I have to spend in the arcade in order to win 5,000 tickets to "buy" this car that costs approximately $5.83?"

Then we "golfed".

Then we went to Bruster's for ice cream because our putt-putt excursion cost us all of $0.00 with our coupon. Gotta love the coupons.

When we came home we found this.
"GiGi, get off the 'puter."
"Wait, GiGi google. GiGi want to find June's blog and join Team Henry. Hen so cute!"

Then, because our children sweat more horribly than even their mother does in 78% humidity, they all required a "getting clean only no playing bath". In and out; understand?

After baths, I turned picture-taking over to the little bugs. These fine moments are brought to you by Lady Bug:

Putting a diaper on Baby Bug-

He's so happy.

Picking Baby Bug's nose-
Not so happy.

This next exhibit is by Baby Bug:

So, there we have it. My very exciting day.

Fun day...especially with Gigi on the puter. I did the day challenge of June's too...it was not as awful as I thought it would be.

I LOVE THAT KITTY!!!!! I died. I thought that picture was a stock photo you added to your photos of your day.

I like how your nails and hair kind of match. And it didn't occur to me to photograph other people's bad shoes. So stealing this idea.

Your kids are so cute! I love that your kitty wants to join Team Henry. This also makes me want to photograph bad shoes. If June can steal the idea, so can I. Maybe we can make a whole retrospective of bad shoes.

I'm here from ByeByePie as well. The shoes are Tom's Shoes. They are a really cool company, all recycled stuff and every pair you buy, they donate a pair to some poor people who can't afford $40 recycled shoes. So sorry about that sentence!

Okay, LisaPie, now I feel like a complete "heel" (pun totally intended) about the guy's shoes. I may even have to buy myself some ugly shoes and donate to the cause. If only Payless, Carlos Santana and Manolo Blahnik (not that this chick has the bucks to shell out for Santana or Manolos ; hence the Payless reference) caught on to doing something like this then maybe I could enthusiastically support it. ; )

I hope Gigi totally hooks up with Henry.

Cute hair and toes. Totally worth the mess in the living room.

Yay, I loved your day (afternoon) in photos! :) I played along with June on Saturday too, but seeing as how I was in a wedding on Saturday I wasn't able to do as much as I wanted to. Something about a ceremony...

Ha, I can't stop giggling about the boy wearing your grandma's house shoes. :)
