On the fourth day of our trip we went to a local market and to the mosque. I'll just post pictures of the market today and cover the mosque tomorrow.
The market. The market is all about the smells. Obviously there are tons of things to look at but your nose knows it's there even before your eyes do. Fish are in abundance here and in the market you can find dozens of types of fish: squid, shellfish, eels, red fish, blue fish, live fish, dead fish. I feel faint just thinking about it.
You can find vendors for chicken and other meats, like ox tail, as well.
Beans and spices and vegetables and fruit are everywhere you look.
And there is no shortage of beautiful faces. Smiles in abundance.
