Uh Oh.

Bert Wallace Gregg turns out to be a girl and is now GiGi Kitty and as of 3:00 this afternoon also VERY ill. She has been rushed to the vet's office and I'm praying that he can help. As it turns out, she is only about 5 weeks old (not 8 or 9 weeks like we were told and probably too young to be leaving her mama). What am I going to do if she doesn't make it?! Poor little Lady Bug and all the rest of the bugs for that matter are going to be devastated. This is not how I imagined our first pet experience going. Maybe we should have tried our hands at a virtual pet and if we could keep that alive then allow ourselves to move up to something with a pulse.

Oh, please, please, God, let that animal be healthy.
